The Art Department, conceived by the world renowned faculty behind The Illustration Academy, The Visual Literacy Program and Conceptart.org, are offering a chosen member of Talenthouse the chance to win a scholarship to their intensive four-week Illustration Academy summer program in 2011 that utilizes total immersion to shorten the learning curve for aspiring artists.
All you have to do is create an illustration that will be used as a promotional "Call for Portfolios" for submissions to attend The Art Department www.theartdepartment.org in 2010. The subject matter is open, but must be palatable, and should help to communicate the idea of "Call for Portfolios".

I hope you don't mind me asking you a question about this competition.
I noticed that when submitting for this creative invite on talenthouse it is possible to upload three jpgs for one submission. I just want to clarify the number of images I can submit. Can I just submit one or three different images for one entry?

I found your art through Illustrationmundo.com, and fell in love! Thank you so much for blessing this good blueberry of a world with your art. I've found myself in a rut lately, as though everything art wise has been made already. Seeing everything that you do really made me want to challenge myself to understand everything about the subject and push myself further.

I was wondering what you think of the future of commercial illustration. I read here and there that soon it will not be a viable profession. I am scared of that since illustration is my life and love..Please advise! Thanx
